Darwin was born an Irishman, on Saint Patrick's Day of 2005. He was one of two puppies, he and a beautiful littermate sister. This litter was one of confident peacefulness and the two pups got along famously. Being the second and final litter out of Lucy, these puppies were something to brag about!! They were a very special twosome. |
| Darwin's natural wiseman attitude gave him a mysterious and uncommon maturity as a young pup. He was bold and confident with eyes of a sailor that would melt away any passerby. He was gentle and alluring, natural in every way. |

Darwin is a thinker. He is so smart, direct and always willing to please. He gives all of himself (or sometimes, like any "boy", nothing). Darwin carries a soft expression, of intelligence and maturity. His eyes are filled with thoughtful kindness, his heart warms the room around him. He has the beauty of his generous dam and the curiosity of his incredible Canadian sire. At 8 weeks Darwin went home with a close friend of mine and found himself a forever passion, the Cavanagh family. |

In May of 2007, Darwin took a try in the Conformation show ring. His bold, square structure and confident attitude was so encouraging that he came home the first weekend out with an enormous Major win. Darwin was then owner handled to his AKC Championship in just a few months of showing. He made it seem so easy to become a Champion!! Darwin is fabulously square head to toe. Even his under jaw is beautifully square and wide! What a package!! |

Darwin's AKC Championship Title just wasn't enough for a boy with so much to think about. He has since moved on from "beauty" to "brains" and is working hard on his Rally and Obedience Titles. This boy is bringing home "all A's" on the Rally Obedience Score Sheets with finishing scores such as "97" to take first place ribbons home and add to his collections. Watch for Darwin working in the Obedience rings by visiting our 2008 Show Schedule Just in time for Spring, Darwin attained his Rally Novice title on March 30th followed by his Rally Advanced title in September.. | Darwin's Thyroid is Normal, Heart clear (cardiologist) and has Normal Elbows with the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals. His Hips have been cleared by Penn Hip. | |
